Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): As a part of 'Oral health awareness week', Government Dental College Srinagar Tuesday conducted a health awareness programme at University of Kashmir. 

 

The even was conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Govt Dental College Srinagar at University health centre in which a team of doctors from different stomatology specialties screened and treated the patients with hi-tech equipments/instruments. 

 

Dr Aasim Farooq Shah, in a brief intro highlighted the importance of oral health and methods of toothbrushing and protection of teeth from various things affecting it. 

 

Dr Khalid Nazir, dental surgeon also delivered many lectures on oral health education to the scholars, faculty and staff of the varsity who visited the camp in large number. 

 

Meanwhile, Doctors while impressing the general public to take advantage of such camps, thanked the university authorities and Principle/Dean Government Dental College professor Dr. Riyaz Farooq for organizing such events.(KNS)
