Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Senior political leader and former minister Ghulam Hassan Mir on Saturday urged the administration to immediately repair the non-functional X-ray machine at Kunzer Hospital, stating that its breakdown for nearly two months has forced impoverished patients to shell out over Rs 500 for emergency scans at private diagnostic centres.
In a social media post, Mir said the defunct equipment is causing “unnecessary financial burden” on economically weaker sections, who are left with no option but to seek costlier private healthcare.
