Srinagar, June 07:(KNS) Chairman DDC Srinagar Malik Aftab, Vice-Chairman DDC Srinagar Bilal Bhat, DDC member Syedpora Shabir Reshi and other members from the council on Monday visited Syedpora constituency in Harwan and took the cognizance of the ground situation.

The DDC members interacted with the locals and carefully listened to the problems faced by them. 

The people also apprised the representatives about a myriad of grievances present on grassroots level and demanded its prompt reparations.

The members of the DDC Srinagar were also accompanied by officials of LAWDA including Executive Engineer, R&B Officials, Agriculture and Soil Conservation Department Officials, Department of Irrigation and Flood Control officials and Power Development Department officials.

Chairman Malik Aftab along with his council members assured the timely mitigation of the sufferings faced by the people and also directed the concerned officials present on the occasion to make unstinted efforts for the resdressal of the public grivences that were raised during this outreach program.

In a statement issued here, Malik Aftab said that the people have reposed their trust in the Council and the members will continue to make unswerving efforts for the betterment and welfare of the people.

The people of Syedpora constituency thanked the DDC Chairman, Vice-Chairman and other members for visiting the area and allievating the woes of the general public. (KNS)
