Srinagar, Apr 11 (KNS): Expressing deep anguish over loss of property in the fire incident at Nigeen Lake Srinagar in which 7 house boats were gutted, Darul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil expressed solidarity and sympathy to all the families and stressed for their immediate rehabilitation.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), on the directions of incarcerated Mirwaiz, a delegation of the organisation led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon distributed rice, blankets and kitchen kits among the sufferers as interim relief.
The statement reads that they also expressed sympathy to those whose houses were gutted in the blaze.
It is pertinent to mention here that Darul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil right since its inception has been providing immediate support to poor, destitute, needy and also to the suffers of natural calamities including floods and fire. (KNS)
