Darul Khair distributes relief among Galwanpora fire-hit families

 
Srinagar, June 22 (KNS): Expressing deep anguish over the massive damage to four residential houses in the devastating fire incident at Galwanpora Chattabal Srinagar, the Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil on behalf of its incarcerated patron Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq expressed heartfelt solidarity and sympathy to the eight affected families, and stressed for their immediate rehabilitation.

On the direction of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Darul Khair distributed rice, blankets and kitchen kits among the eight affected families as interim relief and also expressed sympathy to those whose houses were gutted in the deadly blaze.

It is pertinent to mention here that Darul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil right since its inception has been providing immediate support to the poor, destitute, needy and also those affected by natural calamities including floods and fire incidents without discrimination of caste, creed and religion, and is engaged in the rehabilitation of the victims as much as possible.

As such, Darul Khair has reiterated its appeal to the affluent people to continue supporting this welfare organisation so that it continues with its work of providing help to the needy and affected people.(KNS)
