Special Secy YSS assures support to players

Pampore November 18 (KNS): With an aim of promoting sports activities among persons with disabilities, a cricket match was organised by Birla Open Minds School Pampore in association with JK Blind Welfare Trust & J&K RTI Movement

The match was played between South 11 vs Central 11 and South 11 won the match with close margin. Lateef Bhatti from South 11 team who hails from Shopian was declared the man of the match. 
Raja Waseem Special Secretary Youth Services and Sports YSS  JK Government who was chief guest on the occasion assured full support to the visually impaired players and urged upon J&K Blind Welfare Trust and Birla Open Minds School Pampore to continue such programmes for welfare of persons with disabilities. He appreciated Dr Raja Muzaffar for encouraging blind youth to participate in sports activities especially playing cricket. 

Chairman BML Trust G M Lone , Dr Mehnaz Principal Birla Open Minds School, Farooq Kuthoo Executive Member KCCI , Sajad Rasool Senior Member RTI Movement, M Shafi Rather Social Activist and Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat Chairman RTI Movement / Patron Blind Welfare Trust also participated in the programme and distributed mementos among the participants
