Srinagar, Oct 29 (KNS): A police officer was injured after being shot at by terrorists in Eidgah area of Srinagar on Sunday afternoon, police said.
Kashmir zone police in a post on X, as per KNS said that terrorists fired upon and injured a police inspector Masroor Ahmad in Eidgah area today.
Police said that soon after the incident he was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
“Terrorists fired upon & injured Inspector Masroor Ahmad near Eidgah, Srinagar. He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment. Preliminary #investigation reveals that a pistol was used in this #terror crime. Area cordoned off, case registered,” police said. (KNS)
