Srinagar, Jan 17 (KNS): The authorities at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura on Monday said that the contractual nursing staff were not attending duties and instead creating unnecessary confusion by using social media platforms. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), SKIMS PRO said that SKIMS has submitted the file pertaining to extension of contractual nursing staff to the government and is under active consideration. 

The statement reads that meanwhile, the contractual nursing staff have not been attending to duties for the last 3 to 4 days, putting patients at inconvenience.

"The contractual appointees were time and again informed by the concerned authorities that file is being processed and orders will be issued after pending approval. They are not attending duties but using social media platforms to create unnecessary confusion," it reads. (KNS)
