Congress questions BJP over timing of the Rally,terms it attempts to divert attention


Jammu, June 13 (KNS): Congress today questioned, who is doing politics amidst worst kind of covid pandemic which is growing out of proportion and magnitude, besides the grave external mischief’s and threats by hostile neighbours - China, Pakistan and Nepal while the top brass of the govt and the ruling party are busy addressing public rallies.
A statement issued to KNS reads. As the situation goes worst on both the fronts and people have started questioning the Modi govt and its handling of situation, especially when India has come to number three today after Brazil and USA in terms of growing graph and fourth in terms of numbers, the BJP has crafted a policy to divert the attention of the people and engage them by holding public rallies by top brass, who are required to fully dedicate and devote to the the most important assignments with them to deal with the grave challenges today.
Reacting to the proposed rally of BJP top brass and union defense minister Tomorrow, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma regretted that BJP in indulging in Diversionary tactics when the people expect the government and the ruling party to be on the forefront to deal with the situation on these fronts, which are challenges of the highest order and really grave in nature for the countrymen and their lives are in danger from worst pandemic while the territory of the country are tress passed and threatened.
Strongly Condemning China and Pakistan and Nepal for the deliberate mischiefs and misadventures and grave provocations of worst kind, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson said that the Defence minister and home minister of the country have the time and opportunity to organize and address rallies at huge expense in this atmosphere of an emergency on all fronts including the economic front.
He also lashed out at the attempts to divert the attention from the failures of the govt to protect the representatives of the PRIs as the killing of Ajay Bharti was the second attack and killing of representative of PRIs in the same area in less than six months.
He said that government failed to awaken even after the attack on the back to village function in the same area on November 26, last year, killing the sarpanch and block president of Congress, Peer Mohd Rafi along with some government officials. This was second killing of the elected sarpanch in the area in less than six months,belonging to Congress, but the govt failed to provide security to the representatives ofPRIs. He also alleged that the govt provided 33 lakhs as Ex gratia to the government officials but nothing was given so far to the poor family of slain sarpanch peer Mohd Rafi of Hakura, who had seven dependants including four children and eighty years old mother, which shows the seriousness of the govt and its respect towards the martyrs and their families
The party sought adequate security to the representatives of PRIs and others in all sensitive areas, besides providing the adequate Ex gratia relief and jobs to the children of the Martyred sarpanchs besides all other help to them.
Congress asked the Centre government and UT administration to unitedly fight the challenges on various fronts to defeat the designs of the enemies of humanity and to our country , for which Congress has alwaysc been on the forefront and give party politics a stop for the time being, till we achieve the goal.(KNS)
