Srinagar May 12 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today felicitated people on the eve of Eid Ul Fitr and prayed for their wellbeing.
In a message, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President Ghulam Ahmad Mir has felicitated people on the eve of Eid Ul Fitr, hoping that the auspicious occasion will be the harbinger of the prosperity of the people, peace and stability.
Eid Ul Fitr is indeed a reward from Almighty to people especially those who observe fast during the holy month of Ramadhan to please Him (Almighty), Mir said.
The holy month provides an opportunity to purify souls and seek blessings and forgiveness of Almighty Allah, it shall continue to lead people at the path of truthfulness and righteousness, Mir said and also urged people to take care of destitute and orphans while celebrating Eid.
I wish people a very happy and prosperous Eid Ul Fitr, at the same time, I sincerely pray for their safety and speedy recovery of all the Covid affected patients, JKPCC President added.
On this occasion, I reiterate my fervent appeal to people to celebrate Eid in their homes and adhere to SOPs in order to ensure their safety and others, Mir appealed.
JKPCC President hoped that Eid Ul Fitr will usher in an era of peace, stability and prosperity of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.(KNS)
