Sunderbani, Aug 06(KNS): Several senior leaders quitting other parties and joining Congress is an indication of the reality that Congress is emerging as first choice of people in Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing a largely attended meetibh of Block Congress Sunderbani today JKPCC Chief Spokesperson and former MLC Mr Ravinder Sharma said Congress will emerge more stronger in the days to come as number of senior leaders from different parties have expressed thsir desire to join Congress, which indicates the ground reality that Congress has become the first choice of people.
He said all such requests from various quarters and leaders of different levels are being examined by the party leadership. More & more leaders & workers are willing to join cong from all areas of UT, as Congress is the only secular, democratic alternative to the present dispensation which belives in divide, crush and rule.
Welcoming several prominent persons into Congress besides felicitating the newly elected AYC team of Sunderbani- Mr Ravinder Sharma exhorted the party workers to gear up for the ULB & Panchayat elections.Those who stood loyal to party for years would be always given due respect and place in the party besides party ticket for grass root institutions.
