Express concern over many developmental issues concerning Srinagar City

 Srinagar April 1 (KNS) Congress Corporators in Srinagar Municipal Corporation today held an important meeting at Srinagar Party Office to discuss many developmental issues concerning their respective wards and elsewhere in Srinagar District and many other issues of public importance also came under discussion and it was resolved to continue to fight for development of Srinagar.

The Corporators of Congress Party in Srinagar Municipal Corporation in a meeting held at Srinagar Party Office expressed serious concern over many developmental issues concerning their respective wards and elsewhere in the District, urging the LG administration to focus more on Srinagar’s developmental, besides ensuring that they were able to perform their duty for which they have been chosen.

The developmental process in the district was impacted due to the delay in taking the decision with regard to developmental works, the Corporators added and vowed to continue their fight against the wrong policies to ensure that Srinagar City develops like other cities in other districts.

They meeting highlighted many other issues of public importance and vowed to continue to work for resolution of their issues on priority basis and urged the LG administration to attach importance to developmental issues confronting Srinagar and its people.


The meeting also expressed its grave concern over the terrible traffic jams in the city and urged the authorities to take more effective measures to address this menace, as the people get stuck in the jams for hours, as result, much time goes waste.


The meeting also vowed to strengthen the Congress party further at grass root level and decided to hold ward wise workers meetings in this direction in entire Srinagar district.


The meeting was presided by Basharat Bin Qadir, Chief Whip,those who addressed the meeting included Aijaz Rasool, Asif Beigh, Nazia, Sobee Jan, Shaheena and other corporators.(KNS)
