Congress allege Govt. of failing to provide required medical facilities to people during pandemic

Srinagar, Sept 12 (KNS): Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Saturday held a meeting under the chairmanship of party chief GA Mir to review the current state of affairs and host of issues faced by different sections of society including the worsening Covid-19 situation and alleged Government of failing to provide required medical facilities to the people.
A statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the meeting took stock of the problems of the people on account of the Covid-19 situation in various parts especially the acute shortage of oxygen in Jammu hospitals. Party alleged that Government has failed to provide required medical facilities and to upgrade the infrastructure and demanded immediate measures on war footing to deal with worsening situation.
The meeting, according to statement, discussed host of other issues faced currently by the people including the hardships in the getting of domicile especially during the Corona crisis, lack of provision for the women married to J&K or outside and said the situation showed the vote bank politics of BJP only to exploit the sentiments of the people.
The meeting also threadbare discussed the issues of Panchayats and failures of back to village one and two and only exercise to keep the people and administrative structure engaged without results to mitigate the suffering of the people.
The meeting, as per statement, also discussed the BJP Government politics over Mandir issues but the temple land of historic temple was attempted to be grabbed through the involvement of the JMC, JDA, and NHIDCL for the benefit of private capitalists and reiterated demands for high levels probe.
The issues of ongoing reports and confusion on delimitation process, the non restoration of 4G, charging tuition fee by private schools and arbitrary withdrawal of over 1000 posts from recruitment board were also discussed.
