This proactive measure aims to effectively address and manage the challenges presented by the snowfall, and to mitigate any potential impact on the citizens of Sinagar.
The directive emphasizes the importance of readiness and swift action in order to maintain essential services and uphold public safety during this period of inclement weather.

The Commission,SMC appeals to residents of Srinagar City to exercise caution and to cooperate with the authorities to ensure that the city continues to function smoothly. Moreover, appeals not to Park Vehicles on Roads/Lanes/Bylanes and Footpaths, it will hamper snow clearance process throughout the city.
