Srinagar October 26 (KNS): The Rasm-e-Chahrum of well-known spiritual figure Raja Begum (Mouj), was performed in Chadoora village of central Kashmir's Budgam district during which political, social and literary personalities visited her residence and prayed for forgiveness for the deceased.
The deceased was the wife of Faqir Syed Muhammad Yousuf Andrabi, and mother of politician Farooq Andrabi. The deceased was a lady of good character who was known by the common people as (Mouj).
The participants prayed for forgiveness for the deceased, recited Fatiha at her ancestral tomb at nine in the morning and later at ten o'clock at her residence, Alamdar Road, Ibn Yusuf House No. 11. (KNS)
