Srinagar, July 20 (KNS) : The President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kashmir (CCIK), Tariq Ghani was honoured with the Award of Excellence by Ramdas Athawale union Minister of State, Government of India, in recognition of his outstanding contribution towards promoting entrepreneurship, supporting startups, strengthening trade and industry, and addressing issues concerning the common people of Jammu & Kashmir.
A CCIK delegation led by President Tariq Ghani called on Shri Ramdas Athawale during a meeting in which several important issues concerning trade, commerce, industry, and the business community of Jammu & Kashmir were discussed in detail.
During the interaction, the Hon'ble Minister appreciated CCIK's proactive efforts in bringing young entrepreneurs into the mainstream by encouraging their active participation as members of the Chamber. He emphasized that the time has come for focused handholding and institutional support for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders. The Minister commended CCIK for its significant role in promoting entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for the younger generation.

Shri Athawale invited the CCIK delegation to New Delhi for further deliberations on matters concerning the development of trade and industry in Jammu & Kashmir. He also assured the delegation of the Government of India's full support in extending various schemes and initiatives aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs and strengthening the startup ecosystem in the region.
On the occasion, Shri Ramdas Athawale presented the **Award of Excellence** to CCIK President **Tariq Ghani** in recognition of his dedicated efforts towards promoting entrepreneurship, startups, trade, commerce, and public welfare across Jammu & Kashmir.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Tariq Ghani thanked the Hon'ble Minister for his patient hearing of the issues raised by the delegation and for appreciating the work being carried out by CCIK in advancing the interests of trade, commerce, industry, and the entrepreneurial community. He reaffirmed CCIK's commitment to working closely with the Government of India to create a stronger business environment and greater opportunities for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. (KNS)
