CCF forest circle holds extension tour of forest division Tangmarg

Tangmarg, June 11 (KNS): Conservator of forest circle Srinagar on Thursday took an extensive tour of forest division Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to KNS, he has visited the area for Monitoring of developmental works at Tangmarg Forest Division .

During the tour, he visited division Nursery and inspected the plant stocks conifer /broad leaved and medicinal plants raised during the year 2019_20.

He chaired the Auction of Guchies conducted at the Divisional Headquarter. Later on, he visited the Baderkote block and shunglipora block and inspected the plantation closures established during the year 2019_20.

The directions were given to the field staff for proper watch and ward of the plantation closures.

In the evening hours he chaired a review meeting regarding protection scenario attended by Range officers and the Block officer's of the division.

He gave explicit directions to the field staff to take all preventive measures to protect and safeguard the forest property.

While talking to media in Conservator said in future forest department planting about 1.5 lakh plants in different forest compartments he added that in far-flung areas we will be able to provide "Kashmiri notice" for timber to constructions of houses. (KNS)
