Bukhari seeks immediate relief, rehabilitation for flash flood-hit families in Rajouri, Poonch

 Srinagar, Jul 20 (KNS): Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed grief over the loss of lives and property caused by flash floods in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir and urged the government to ensure immediate relief, rehabilitation and adequate compensation for the affected families.

 
In a statement, Bukhari said the situation in the flood-hit areas was "truly painful and tragic", adding that photographs and videos from the affected regions reflected the scale of devastation.

Bukhari called for a comprehensive assessment of the losses without delay and said families who had lost their loved ones, homes, vehicles, livelihoods and other property should be provided immediate relief and assistance.
 
He also urged the authorities to ensure timely rehabilitation and adequate compensation to help the affected people rebuild their lives.(KNS).
