BSF Organized friendly cricket match in Mawer

 
Handwara August 28 (KNS): Border Security Force (BSF) organized a friendly cricket match amongst the local border village on the Eve of national sports day at Bn HQ Nougam today on Monday. 

The Match was inaugurated by Vinod Singh, Commandant BSF 174. Cricket team of bordering village Sports Club Nougam and team of 174 Bn BSF played the match. 

Commandant 174 Bn has distributed prizes, trophies and medals among the winners, runners-up team.

These types of sports activities provided platform to the talented youth of the  border belt to exhibit their sporting skills before huge audience. Refreshment was also provided by the unit to players and other participants in the Programme.

The people of the area, including Sarpanch Nowgam 'A' Dr. Nayeem U Rehman and Sarpanch Nowgam 'B' Nazir Ahmad while thanking Border Security Force (BSF) Officers, requested them to organize more such programs in future, vote of thanks was presented by Vinod Singh, Commandant 174 Bn BSF, he also assured the locals that BSF will always try to give possible help to them.(KNS)
