BSF organises Medical camp in Langate

Kupwara January 21 (KNS): Border Security Force (BSF) organized a free medical camp at Puthwari Mawer area of North Kashmir's Kupwara district.

The programme was inaugurated by Lima Temjen 2IC 91BN BSF Nowgam, in the presence of other offices, Sarpanches and other respected citizens of the area.

Doctors from district hospital Handwara including Dr. Javeed Munwar, Dr. Rameez, Dr. Sajad Geelani,CHO Dr. Rubeena, CHO Dr. Farhat Ara and other doctors from BSF were present there who checked the patients. Beside medical consultations and check-ups medicines were provided to the people free of cost.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the locals from the far-flung area of the area, however more than 350 patients including Male, Female, Children's was checked and was given treatment by the medical team.

Speaking in the medical camp Lima Temjen 2IC (Ops) said that the aim of the medical camp is to provide medical care to the local of the area at their doorsteps. Today’s medical camp is being organised with an aim to provide free basic health faculties to the villagers of far flung area, later he thanks all the medical staff, media persons, village head's and other persons who played the role for successful medical camp.

Many patients get benefitted from this medical camp and free medicines were distributed to the needy border population.

During the program all the village heads (Sarpanchs & Panchs, Numbardar and other respected citizens) were present who graced the occasion.

It is worth to mention here that this was the 2nd medical camp in last 10 days organised by the BSF.(KNS)
