BSF organises Medical camp at NTPHC Nowgam

Kupwara January 11 (KNS) : Border Security Force (BSF) 91 BN Nowgam organized a free medical camp at Government New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC), Nowgam Mawer area of district Kupwara.


The programme was inaugurated by CO 91BN BSF Mohd Israil, in the presence of CMO (OG) Dr. Alok Singh Rangkoli and other officers and medical staff. Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat BMS, Dr. Rameez Ahmad Dental Surgan, Dr. Shabir Ahmad General Physician, Dr. Shabnam, Dr. Suraiyya both Gynecologist Dr. Sajad Geelani, Dr. Shabnum from district hospital Handwara were also present there to check the patients.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the locals.

Speaking on the occasion, CO Mohd Israil said that the BSF deployed on border is always ready to give necessary assistance to the people of these areas. He later thanks all the medical staff, media persons, village head's and other persons who played the role for successful medical camp.

 During the medical camp, all necessary assistance to specially challenged children was also given. Many patients get benefitted from this medical camp and free medicines were distributed to the needy border population.


During the program all the village heads (Sarpanchs & Panchs, Numbardar and other respected citizens) were present who graced the occasion.

Sarpanch Nowgam Nayeem U rehman and Sarpach Pathwari Nazir Ahmad thanked BSF 91 Batallion for organising such program in these difficult times and said they (BSF) is always providing the helping hand to the people of the area.(KNS)
