Srinagar, Aug 28(KNS): Two siblings were electrocuted in Babapora village, Zainapora Sub Division, South Kashmir's Shopian district, one of the siblings lost their life, while the other is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

The victims, identified as Mashooq Ahmad Hajam and Irfan Ahmad Hajam, were injured while repairing electrical wires on an electric pole in Babapora Zainapora.

The swift actions of the authorities led to their prompt evacuation to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Mashooq Ahmad Hajam could not overcome the severity of his injuries and succumbed while receiving medical attention. However, there is hope for Irfan Ahmad Hajam, whose condition is said to be stable.(KNS).
