Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS):On the Birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh being commemorated across the country on September 28, Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary said that India today needs the principles of the late freedom fighter like never before.
In a statement issued to KSN reads, Kadfeen while paying glorious tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh who lead down his life for the sacred cause of freedom at a young age, said that the ideals and principles of Bhagat Singh must act as a torch bearer for the youth in today’s society in which people are playing good and fragmenting human kind on the basis of caste, creed and religion.
The only way to prosper, said Kadfeen is to unite against the common enemy which is bad governance, hunger and poverty. He said that the greatest tribute that could be paid to the brave freedom warrior on his birth anniversary is that we resolve to get the people out of the squalid conditions, show them the path of unity and give wide berth to the politics of hatred and division.
Kadfeen said that the country at present is passing through one of the tumultuous times of its history and there is a greater need to exhibit astuteness, sincerity and steadfastness in realising the dream of real nation building.(KNS)
