Baramulla, September 11 (KNS): The town of Baramulla wore a festive look on Friday as the 608th Urs Mubarak of revered Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Muhammad Janbaz Wali (RA) was observed at Khanpora, drawing thousands of devotees from the town and adjoining areas.
The devotees gathered at the revered shrine to offer prayers, seek blessings and pay their respects to the saint.
The streets leading to and around the shrine were decorated for the occasion, while a spiritual atmosphere prevailed across the area as devotees participated in prayers and other religious activities associated with the annual Urs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The annual Urs reflects the deep-rooted spiritual, cultural and communal traditions of Baramulla, bringing together people from different walks of life in an atmosphere of peace and devotion.
The occasion also carries a message of peace, brotherhood, harmony and spiritual unity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir (KNS)
