Baramulla April 19 2020: A day after Jammu and kashnir police constable from Malpora Sheeri area in Baramulla district tested positive for Covid-19, health authorities have started massive “contact tracing” operation to find out the people who have come in contact with the cop.

A health official confirmed to KNS that a 35 year old cop of Malpora Narwav was tested positive for Covid-19 after he came with direct contact with his colleague from Budgam had already tested positive.

The cop from Malpora Baramulla has visited his family, relatives in Malpora, Zandafaran and in-laws in Audora a week ago after that he was quarantined.

“A massive contact tracing operation is under way. So far we traced 14 direct contacts of the cop including his family mebers, relatives and in-laws and shifted them to hospital quarantine center in kashmir university of North campus Delina Baramulla,”.(KNS).
