Srinagar, June 02 (KNS): A Bank Manager of Elaqahi Dehati Bank, Branch Kulgam, was shot dead by suspected militants in Arreh Mohanpora village of the district on Thursday.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the bank manager, a resident of Rajasthan, was fired upon by militants when he was on duty at Arreh Mohanpora Branch.
He said that the injured was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the official said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNS)
