Bandipora, 02 August(KNS): An open house meeting held at Bandipora Army unit location on 01 Aug 2023 for redressal of grievances submitted by Ex service men/ War widows during ESM Rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium on 25 Jul 2023. A total of 42xExService Men. 02xWar widows and 01xExService Man Widow from entire Bandipora attended the event.

The army addressed the ESM for necessary action being undertaken taken to address their grievances in coord with Reocrds, ZSWO and civil adm. ESMs were gratified by the quick response from Army for their grievance redressal. Feedback was also collected from other ESM regarding their issues related pension, canteen smarts card & ECHS etc.

ESM appreciated the initiatives of the Army and expressed their desire for more meeting in the days to come. Organization of meeting is a future step to improve the quality of life of the Ex-Servicemen and will go a long way to assist them.(KNS).
