Baramulla, Sept 23 (KNS): B2V3 Pre "Jan Abhiyaan" and 2nd Block Diwas was held on Wednesday at Block Office Baramulla.

According to KNS, BDO Baramulla zeeshan Khan (KAS) informed that the aim of this programme is to reach grass root in rural areas where problems of people and their demands can be heard by all line departments on single platform.

At the ocassion ADC Baramulla Ehsaan Mir was visiting officer to block and presided over the session . During the day long programme 116 greviances/demands pertaining to different departments were received and were noted in form G of Block for further redressal.

Visiting Officer disbursed Rs 2,60,000 to various beneficiaries under Labour Department and Rs 13,20,000 was disbursed to beneficiaries under SBM covering 110 beneficaries. During the session 300 income certificates were also handed to various beneficiaries by revenue department.

Visting officer assured the people that all demands will be taken up and fulfilled in coming days so people don't have to face any difficulties.

"Jan Abhiyaan will continue till 1st October and Block Diwas will be held on 30th again so people who are left out can come and share their greviances and demands", BDO Baramulla Zeeshan Khan said. (KNS)
