Awantipora Police facilitates Police Public interaction meeting at PS Tral


September 23 (KNS): As a part of public outreach programme, Police public interaction meeting was facilitated by Awantipora Police at Police Station Tral while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
The interaction meeting was chaired by SDPO Tral along with SHO PS Tral. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Tral area including religious leaders, Auqaf Committee members and Traders.
According to police statement issued to KNS reads, during the meeting, the participants raised various issues related to police and other civil departments. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
The participants were also assured that police is working continuously to curb the offences and requested to extend their cooperation in eradicating other social crimes from the area. The main aim of these meetings is to facilitate interaction with community members and redress their grievances so as to create cordial police-public relationship.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and adherence to the guidelines as well as health advisories issued by civil administration & health department from time to time in view of Covid-19 pandemic.(KNS)
