Srinagar, December 16:(KNS) Incarcerated Er Abdul Rashid lead Jammu Kashmir Awami Itehad Party lashed out at PAGD Constituents for their “jekyll and hyde” policy of running with hare and hunting with hounds. Party top brass lambasted the brazen chicanery of so called People alliance and called it a repeat of 1975 and 1987. Party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai questioned PAGD’s integrity vis-a-vis its claim of collectively persevering for the restoration of Articles 370 and 35-A. Party leader question PAGD that if they couldn’t be united for even a DDC election how could they claim to represent aspirations of an entire nation and make ginormous promises for bringing back what is lost- 370 and 35A. In a statement to KNS, reads He questioned how proxy candidates by the very constituents of PAGD are being fielded against each other? Terming it as worst form of political gimmickry and broad daylight trickery he castigated the so called leaders who are known to be age old backstabbers and have their hands drenched with blood of innocent Kashmiris. Party leadership reminded Kashmiri nation the need to support honest, fearless true leaders who’ve always stood by the side of people when push came to shove. These people have bitterly exposed themselves and made it fully clear that nothing good ever can come through them. He termed their collective struggle against BJP as a cruel joke, who in Kashmir has forgotten how Omer Abdullah was a minister in Atal Biharis cabinet? Where were the tall claims of protecting Kashmir’s dignity then? He called the amalgam as a collection of BJP rejects, Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP till yesterday was in an unholy shameless coalition with BJP, Modi was Sajad Lone’s self proclaimed elder brother. If anyone in Kashmir believes them to ever fight for the legitimate cause of Kashmiris is living in fools paradise. Ashai forewarned the people of Kashmir to not be hoodwinked by such sham-gimmicks of stooge turned well wishes of Kashmir and remember those leaders who always stood by the Kashmiri nation in the hour of crises. Ashai further added that these parties who have always connived with New Delhi do not deserve to represent Kashmiris in any capacity and have no locus-standi vis-a-vis Kashmir issue. Most of them have been partners in eroding the special status and for them it’s only a struggle for chairs of power. They have never bothered about the welfare of Kashmiri people leave alone ever struggle for their rights and concerns. We don’t need to elucidate how Er Rashid And Awami Itehad Party was on the forefront to oppose fascist communal regime’s every diabolical policy, whether it was beef ban, Love jihad, or other assaults on the Kashmiri nation. People must not forget who the real leaders of Kashmir are, those who for the legitimate concerns and rights of their people are facing incarcerations in dreaded jails across India, be it Tihar, Agra or Jodhpur. Ashai urged the Kashmiri nation to understand the need of hour and form a true people’s Allaince which genuinely aims to persevere for restoration of special status as well as for seeking release of all Kashmiri leaders and activists who are still held captive in numerous jails across India. He passionately urged people at large to not fall for sham gimmicks of NC, PDP, People’s Conference and demanded an apology from such parties for once again toying with sentiments of Kashmiri people.(KNS)
