Awami Itehad Party condoles demise of Showkat Wani’s mother 

Srinagar, 21 May (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Awami Itehad Party extended condolences to the family of Showkat Ahmed Wani (Reban) on the sad demise of his mother. It is believed that the deceased suffered a heart attack last evening and breathed last at her ancestral house. Party top brass empathised with the bereaved family and prayed Almighty Allah to provide her with the highest rank in Jannah, give strength and forbearance to family in this hour of grief.

In a condolence message issued to Kashmir news service (KNS), AIP General Secretary Parvez Ahmed Shah said, “Deeply anguished over the sad demise of Showkat Wani’s mother. Had the good fortune to know a family from close quarters, a great loss for everyone. May Allah grant her highest place in Jannah”.

Extending sympathies with the bereaved family Senior party leaders Ishtiyaq Ahmed Qadri, Sheeban Ashai, Nazir Ahmed Moon, Showkat Zargar, Firdous Baba, Muzzafar Dar in a joint solidarity message expressed condolences with Wani’s family, prayed that the deceased’s soul rests in peace.

“We are all deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Showkat Wani’s mother. Such a gentle, kind soul had left us way too soon. This sad news comes to us all at an already woebegone time marred by Covid-19. We express our earnest heartfelt condolences to the entire Wani clan(Reban, Shopian). May Almighty give you and your family strength to bear this loss”.

Paying rich tributes to the late lady who was widely known for her virtuousness; god fearing-noble nature, even at community level dynamically associated with welfare initiatives.

Party leadership lauded the contributions of the entire Wani family which remains at the forefront for all social and philanthropic endeavours, expressing solicitude with family party leadership expressed regret and shared grief over the untimely demise of Zaina Begum.(KNS)
