Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister professor Saif u Din Soz on Sunday said that authorities has asked him you are free from house detention.
In a statement to KNS Soz said that yesterday evening he was informed by his security guard verbally that you are free from the house detention.
In a statement issued to KNS Soz said, what happens in Kashmir happens nowhere in India, It was on Aug 05 2019 when the guard told me not to venture out from our house and i had been put under house arrest. He further said that the guard told me these all instructions especially in the police department are verbally
It is the guard again who told me yesterday that i had been set free from house arrest and i can go anywhere know.
There is thus an effort by the UT administration no records should be maintained regarding the arrests and releases of main political leaders Soz Added.
The constitutional provision for protection of civil liberties has been reduced to futility.
Incidentally the so called national human rights commission has its doors closed on Kashmir long ago.
I want to repeat what i had said of the national human rights commission Years ago the judges could stay home and salaries would sent to their homes.
