Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday posted Ashish Kumar Mishra as senior superintendent of police Srinagar after Rakesh Balwal was relieved following his repatriation to Manipur cadre.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with KNS Rakesh Balwal was relieved from Jammu & Kashmir to enable him to join his parent cadre Manipur.
The order stated that consequently, senior superintendent of police Anantnag Ashish Kumar Mishra is transferred and posted as SSP Srinagar.
It added that AIG (CIV) police headquarters G V Sundeep Chakravarthy has been transferred and posted as senior superintendent of police Anantnag. (KNS)
