Srinagar, Oct 06 (KNS): To popularize the consumption of local fruits, Director Horticulture Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat postulate d the concept of organizing Buyer-Seller meet on the pattern of Sunday market in the premises of Horticulture Complex Rajbagh Srinagar on 11th October 2020.
In order to finalize the modalities, a meeting of CA Store owners as well as Chief Horticulture Officers was convened today in the meeting hall of the Directorate.
After threadbare discussion, it was decided that initially ten stalls shall be established as a beginning for display and sale of fruits.
Director Horticulture directed Horticulture Information & Publication Officer to give wide publicity to the event so that maximum numbers of persons participate in the event. The event shall create awareness among the public for consumption of fruit which helps boosting the immune system.
All the CA Store owners praised Director Horticulture for this untiring support to the CA Store owners, trades, orchardists and other Stake Holders of the Horticulture industry. (KNS)
