Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS) : The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps on Monday organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally at Baghbela in Tangdhar, North Kashmir, as part of its ongoing efforts to reach out to the veteran community and their families.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, and dependents from the surrounding areas, an army spokesperson said.
“The event served as a platform for direct interaction between serving personnel and veterans, where participants were apprised of various welfare initiatives, pension-related provisions, healthcare facilities, and resettlement avenues,” the spokesperson added.

Officials from relevant agencies were present to address grievances and facilitate resolution of issues pertaining to ex-servicemen and their families.
The army also honoured the contributions and sacrifices of veterans, reaffirming the bond between the force and its former members.
The Chinar Corps said such rallies underline the Army’s commitment to maintaining a lifelong association with those who have served the nation. (KNS)
