Handwara June 10:(KNS) Amid gradual improvement in the situation, the army organized night volleyball tournament in Handwara village of Khaipora. 

The inaugural was played on Wednesday between Turkapra and Rajwar

The first day of the tournament witnessed an exciting game between the opponents that is Turkpura Vs Zachaldara(B) and Ahgam Vs Rajpura. 

In both the well fought matches Turkpura and Rajpura emerged as winners knocking out the other teams and securing their place for Semi-finals. 

During the event, COVID -19 protocols were taken care of as screening of the players was carried out before the match and viewers were insisted to follow the social distancing. 

Tomorrow's match will be played between Dudipura and Krumhoora. Both the teams are known for their great performance. Let's see which team makes it in another round.(KNS)
