Jammu, Dec 01 (KNS): PDP General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir hailed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for formally issuing orders of withdrawal of cases against 4327 youth involved in 744 cases.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mir said that Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti wants a reformative approach towards the youth and pendency of cases against them caused great hardships to them and their families, making their reintegration in the society difficult.
Mir said that these youth were deprived of employment and educational opportunities because of pending FIRs and this humble gesture by the Chief Minister should be taken as a beginning for the larger roadmap of reconciliation and peace.
