LeT pays tribute to slain Jaish commander

Says HR violations will continue until AFSPA is in place

Srinagar, Mar 06 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Tuesday paid tributes to Jaish commander, Waqas who was killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants on Monday evening.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah said, “The dark days are soon to be over. The pure blood of martyrs will light the way to freedom. Commander Waqas fulfilled his duty, now it is us who must carry on this mission so as to make way for freedom.”
Shah strongly supported the 'Shopian Chalo!' call and said that “the Indian forces imply upon the Dracula laws. Unless and until the black laws like AFSPA are in place, the human rights will continue to be violated by terrorist Indian Forces. This is the time when the whole nation and political parties are at protest.”
“The human rights organizations must take notice of the atrocities committed by Indian Forces on innocents, but regrettably no one is speaking up against such vicious acts. This is the hour of unity and harmony. The Hurriyat leaders must guide the nation. The Mujahideen will continue to practice their part of work under all circumstances,” he said. (KNS)
