Says Govt must pay heed to sufferings of farmers


Srinagar, Sep 09 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Sunday expressed concern over the blast disease caused to the crops in Tangmarg villages.
Mir said that the government should pay heed to sufferings of farmers who are distressed due to the blast disease caused to their crops.
He also appealed government to take steps in this regard so that the farmers could heave a sigh of relief.
It is worth to mention here that such disease to the crops has also taken place in Kishtwar area.
The farmers in Kishtwar have also appealed people to look into the matter and provide assistance to them. (KNS)
