DPS Budgam organises inter-school English debate

Students of Valley's famed schools showcase their debating skills


Srinagar, Sep 11 (KNS): DPS Budgam organised its annual Inter-School English Debate on Tuesday. The different reputed schools of the valley took part and showcase best of their debating skills. P J Johnson ,principal GD Goenka was the chief - guest while Pirzada Mumtaz(General secretary of Child Nurture And Relief(chinar)), Z.A Banday(OSD to director School Education) and Tasaduq Rashid (Bereau chief KNS) were among the judges. The topic of the debate was “Not marks but morality counts finally”. All the speakers spoke so well that the audience were enthralled. The first position was bagged by Burnhall School while the second was bagged by KVS followed by the third position which was grabbed by GD Goenka School.
Later on, the guests appreciated the efforts of the school and encouraged the students to take active part in such activities. The event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the principal DPS ,Budgam. (KNS)
