DIG South Kashmir flags off Bharat Darshan Tour in Kulgam

Interacts with students, advises them to avail opportunity


Kulgam, Aug 27 (KNS): To improvise the Police-public relations and promote cultural exchange and exchange of ideas, a Bharat Darshan Tour Programme has been organized by District Police Kulgam under Civic Action Programme (CAP) for 52 students from different parts of district Kulgam which was flagged off today from Mir Bazar.
The tour was flagged off by DIG South Kashmir Range Amit Kumar in presence of DC Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani
On the occasion, DIG while interacting with the touring students advised them to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour as they will be visiting places of historical importance and other places of interest.
He said that such occasions will provide them new experience and also gave them vast exposure to become more confident and attain knowledge about the visiting places.
He said it will be an educational tour for them.
Among others the occasion was graced by SSP Kulgam Hermeet Singh, CO’s of Army, CRPF and officers of District Police Kulgam.
Lodging, boarding and air travel facilities will be provided to the visiting students by District Police Kulgam. (KNS)
