Congress spokesperson blames Govt, PDD for erratic power supply

Expresses concern over difficulties confronting students appearing in exams


Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Expressing serious concern over the unscheduled curtailment of Electricity at a “large scale” across the valley, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee(JKPCC) Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi has lashed out at Govt especially State’s Power Dev. Department for failing to ensure electricity even as per their official scheduled.
Andrabi also expressed serious concern over the difficulties confronting students appearing in exams shortly saying that children are not able to study to their satisfaction, which is going to affect their exams.
In a Statement issued to KNS, Congress Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi sought clarity from the Govt over the unscheduled curtailment of Electricity, which is badly hitting the students and the public in general. He said PDD must remain committed to it’s official schedule, which is not happening, as a result people are facing great hardships due to unprepared curtailment on the part of PDD.
Adding that PDP BJP ruling dispensation has miserably failed to ensure basic facilities to people, Farooq Andrabi said that Govt must take effective measures to ensure basic facilities to people especially electricity, Kerosene and other type of essentials required, as that, winter season is going to be very harsh, for that Govt must be ready to tackle the situation arising out of Snowfall etc.
Andrabi urged upon the Govt to ensure Electricity and other basic facilities to people, on war footing basis. (KNS)
