Authorities impose restrictions in Srinagar parts

Kashmir shuts on JRL’s call


Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): The district administration on Monday imposed restrictions in Srinagar areas while a complete shutdown is being observed in Kashmir against the plights of prisoners’ languishing different jails.
Complete restrictions were imposed in Srinagar areas falling under the jurisdiction of five Police Stations including Rainawari, Safakadal, Nowhatta, Khanyar and M R Gunj while the partial restrictions were imposed in Maisuma and Kralkhud.
The restrictions were imposed as precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, in response of the shutdown call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the atrocities in South Kashmir and against the plights of prisoners, all the shops and other business establishments are closed across the Valley. (KNS)
