Srinagar, June 09 (KNS) ; Kashmir Valley on Tuesday reported second death due to coronavirus as a 70-year-old covid-19 patient from Panzath village in Qazigund area of south Kashmir died at GMC Anantnag, taking the overall death toll in J&K to 48.
Sources told KNS that an elderly man South Kashmir district died in south Kashmir.
According to hospital sources the deceased was admitted in hospital few days back and was suffering from multiple ailments.
A health official have confirmed the death of elderly man and stated that he died of covid 19. “He was 75-year old suffering from multiple ailments. After being tested positive for Covid-19 virus, he had been admitted in the hospital” he said.
Earlier a 52 year old man died of the same infection at CD Hospital Srinagar during morning hours (KNS)
