Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam condoles demise of Haji Khursheed Ahmad Deen, Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed

Srinagar, June 01 (KNS): Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has expressed deep grief over the demise of Haji Khursheed Ahmad Deen son of Khwaja Habibullah Deen of a renowned Din family of Khanabal, Islamabad (Anantnag). Khwaja Habibullah Deen was a former chairman of Nusrat-ul-Islam Trust, Islamabad (Anantnag) and the deceased Haji Khursheed Ahmad Deen also served as chairman of the Trust for a long period.

Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam in a statement paid rich tribute to Haji Khursheed Ahmad Deen for his selfless educational, and social, contribution in the area, saying the Deen family of Khanabal not only has deep devotion with the Mirwaiz Family since centuries but has also rendered immense sacrifices in promoting the mission of all the organisations associated with the Institution of Mirwaiz which include Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, Anjuman Jamia Masjid Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir Awami Action Committee and Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil.

Anjuman said the Deen family is highly revered and respected in the Islamabad area and is being hailed for its selfless services to society.

Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, who continues to be under house arrest for the last nearly two years; expressed heartfelt condolence with the Deen family especially the deceased’s brother Arshid Hussain Deen sons Tauseef Ahmad Deen, Ahmad Deen and all the members of the Nusrat-ul-Islam Trust and other well-wishers. Anjuman prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam also expressed deep grief over the demise of a leading religious figure of Jammu and translator of the Holy Qur’an in the Gojri language, Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed, who was also the head Mufti of Markaz-ul-Ma’arif Bathindi, Jammu.

Anjuman on behalf of its presided paid rich tribute to Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed for his social, religious, educational and Tablighi services in Jammu and its surroundings. The organisation termed the demise as a big loss in the rank of Ulema and expressed condolence and solidarity with the people of Jammu.(KNS)
