Says in case of bad weather prayers will be held at Jama Masjid Srinagar

 Srinagar, June 27 (KNS): Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has announced that as per the Islamic Shariah and teachings, Eid-ul-Adha prayers would be offered at the historic Eidgah in Srinagar at 9 am.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), it said that in case of rain or bad weather, Eid prayers will be offered at the Historic Jama Masjid Srinagar and the timing will remain same.

The Anjuman has urged the people to participate in the congregation prayers to express unity among the Ummah and maintain discipline. The people have been urged to bring prayer mats along with them.

In view of Eid-ul-Adha and the holy days of Qurbani, Anjuman Auqaf once again urged the authorities to release Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq. (KNS)
