Srinagar March 20 (KNS): The Jammu Kashmir Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah and Sr.Vice President Mr. Muzzaffar Shah greeted people on the eve of Navroz-e-Alam, praying the day acts as a harbinger of peace and prosperity in Jammu Kashmir.
In their greeting message on Navroz-e-Alam Begum Khalida Shah and Mr. Muzzfar Shah expressed hope that the day would herald peace, prosperity and progress in Jammu and Kashmir, while reminding the significance of March 21 as the World Arbour Day.
They also laid stress on the need for effective measures to conserve forest reserves and bio-diversity for posterity.(KNS)
