Srinagar February 6 (KNS): Awami National Conference condoled the demise of prominent writer poet and former director Doordarshan and AIR Srinagar Dr Farooq Nazki.
Awami National Conference president Begum Khaleda Shah and Senior vice president Muzaffar Shah expressed sorrow over his demise and said that that the knowledge and literary circles of the valley have come to a standstill.
In a joint statement, they said that with the demise of Farooq Sahib, has created a big void in the literarily field of Kashmir. The ANC leaders and all the members are saddened by the demise of Nazki Sahib and express their condolences to the bereaved family.
May Allah forgive late Farooq Nazki and grant him a high place in heaven. We pray that Allah Almighty gives courage to the family of Farooq Sahib to bear the loss, they added.(KNS)
