Srinagar, Jul 22 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Anantnag district, asserting that those responsible for the "heinous act" would be brought to justice.
In a post on X, LG Sinha said he spoke with Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat to review the situation following the attack that claimed the life of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi. The Lieutenant Governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and said the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with them in this hour of grief.

"I strongly condemn this cowardly attack. This heinous act will not go unpunished," the Lt Governor said. He further stated that the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces are on the ground and will bring those responsible to justice . (KNS)
