All Officers and Staff of Hazratbal Shrine Suspended for Negligence of Duties

Srinagar October 01 (KNS):  The Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has taken a significant step by ordering the suspension of all officers and staff of Hazratbal Shrine due to their negligence of duties during the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

According to an order, this action was prompted by the Chairperson's surprise visit to Hazratbal Shrine on the day of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) following complaints from the public.

The order clearly highlights that the negligent behavior of the staff in question had resulted in substantial inconveniences for the devotees.

"Despite numerous directives and instructions from the authorities, the ground staff failed to provide adequate facilities to the devotees. As a consequence, all officers and staff members of Hazratbal Shrine have been suspended with immediate effect due to their serious dereliction of duties," the order states.

Also, an inquiry team led by the Chairperson has been established to investigate this matter.(KNS)
